Follow an invitation to tender we were very proud to be awarded the contract by Torpoint Town Council to promote the town and the surrounding area.
Being a major gateway into the county (yet not included on visit-cornwall) we were tasked to highlight the 'hidden gems' of the area, especially to the 2 million vehicles that pass over the 'world's biggest and busiest chain ferry service', the Torpoint Ferry. The town wishes to develop itself into a destination with the aim of attracting more tourism and visitors to the area, to increase economic activity and provide more opportunities for its residents. This change is important to underpin regeneration throughout the wider town and the peninsula creating links across the many groups and activities available to visitors and locals.
Initial we produced a logo for the project. This needed to sit alongside the town council identity and we decided to embrace the reason Torpoint exists in the first place, the Ferry, which has run on a chain system since the 1830s.
