Building websites to work properly across an array of browsers is a critical stage of website development. Unlike print, online content is not fixed, how it looks is dependent on what software and version it is viewed with.
Every computer user has a choice of browsers additional to those preloaded. We test our sites with all the main players as well as the array of Microsoft IE platforms that have emerged over the years. We also research the percentage of users of each platform and advise our clients accordingly.
...and we know that this site won't work in IE6 - we can live with that.
